Project Control
Project controls is process for gathering and examining project data to keep costs and schedules on target.
Project control is not only correcting disrupted situations. It’s mainly to spot problems before they manifest. There are three basic sorts of control mechanisms- cybernetic, go/no-go, and post-performance.
Project controls provide an error-free approach to managing risk. By identifying risks, monitoring continuously, and developing plans to address and solve issues, it becomes possible to reduce impact on budget and schedule. It also helps prevent some risks from happening within the future.

Establishment of performance measurement system (PMS)
Progress measurement is based upon theprogress of each activitiey / sub-activities / deliverables according.
For working out the weightings of various activities / deliverables within each area and within each project phase, we propose to consider estimated man-hours and budgeted cost as our measurement tools.
Earned Value Management (EVM):
Earned value management (EVM) is a project management methodology that integrates schedule, costs, and scope to measure project performance.
Based on planned and actual values, EVM predicts the future and enables project managers to adjust accordingly.
EVM has 3 main elements: Planned Value (PV), Actual Cost (AC), and Earned Value (EV).
Root Cause Analysis Progress Tracking & Analysing (S Curve):
We provide different tools or KPIs to monitor the progress and also provide effective project management solutions.
Based on the Approved Contract Master Programme, resource histograms are to be prepared. These histograms are to be based on the BOQ quantities or a take-off of quantities from the drawings available.
Once this has been done, both labour and materials resources histograms will be prepared.
Productivity Monitoring:
The planned manpower to be compared with Actual Manpower allocation at site for each trade every week. The cumulative actual manpower at any stage of the project should be less than or equal to the planned manpower.
Producing the resource histograms/schedules will allow the performance of such resources to be monitored related to the planned activities and therefore, allow greater control related to productivity.
Development of Progress Reports:
We propose the Progress reports are to be prepared minimum weekly or as required in terms of the Conditions of Contract in the mutually agreeable format. We have industry accepted formats for sample purpose only to select if required.
Reporting will be concise and related to actual progress of the project reporting the ‘facts’ only.
The report is to be kept simple yet covering all major issues that can be referred back to in the event of substantiating delay claims.
