A proper construction plan is developing accurate budget and scheduling for work. Developing the development plan may be a critical task within the management of construction.
Moreover, maintaining a sustainable and transparent relationship with the client.
Novelite Project Management Consultancy can help design a plan for your specific project needs. This includes assessing risk and developing mitigation strategies which will assist you save time and money. From concept to closeout, we’ll assist you develop an idea you'll repose on.
Our proven approach to scheduling altogether phases of a project can help to make sure that the:
- Schedule complies with contract requirements.
- Complete scope of work is properly defined.
- Level of detail is sufficient for proper planning.
- CPM logic is accurate and complete.
- Critical and near critical paths are reviewed and evaluated.
Novelite’s conceptual planning and project development services include:
- Define Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Development of Contract Master Schedule
- CPM/PERT Analysis
- Provide Resource Requirements
- Development of Project Execution Strategy/Construction Methodology
- Schedule Risk Analysis
Work Breakdown Structure
The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is to develop a better understanding of project. It is a description of the work that must be done to complete the deliverables of a project. Each descending level within the WBS represents an increasingly detailed description of the project deliverables. A work-breakdown structure in project management and systems engineering, may be a deliverable-oriented breakdown of a project. A work breakdown structure is a key deliverable that organizes the team's work into manageable sections.
We at Novelite ensure to make the project WBS as our first step in the development of the project master schedule and will obtain prior approval from the client.
Development of Contract Master Schedule
The contract master schedule provides an overall summary of the project which will be used for communication with stackholders, especially senior managements. it defines the main deliverable as well as the components of the work breakdown structure.
Baseline Schedule shall be consistent with the Contract Schedule with respect to overall project Completion as well as intermediate milestones and shall be in greater detail to reflect the Milestones, sequence and inter-relationships between various activities and sub-activities related to each Area / Phase / Discipline of work.We at Novelite will follow the guideline requirements given in the contract while developing the Contract Master Schedule. Contract Master Schedule shall be prepared using latest planning software without any imposed “Constraints” and negative floats.
CPM/PERT Analysis
The program evaluation and review technique is a statistical tool used in project management, which was designed to analyze and represent the tasks involved in completing a given project.
Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) is a method used to examine the tasked that are in a schedule and determine a variation of the Critical Path Method (CPM). It analyzes the time required to complete each task and its associated dependencies to determine the minimum time to complete a project.
We use the same method in developing the contract master schedule.
Provide Resource Requirement
We will provide Manpower Deployment Schedules and Histograms covering the entire duration of the AGREEMENT.The data shall be based on the detailed schedules (Micro Schedules) where required, for the respective Area / Phase / Discipline of the project.
Manpower Deployment schedules and Histograms shall be submitted as per the sample Formats (if any) specified in the contract.
All Manpower Histograms will show baseline, current plan (defined as that plan approved by the client), actual and forecast.
Development of Project Execution Strategy/Construction Methodology
The purpose of preparing the Project Execution Strategy or Construction methodology is to adequately describe the sequence and methods that otherwise could not be adequately described in the programme. We provide a detailed Construction methodology cognizance should be given to include the following:
- Description of the Project
- Method/sequence of working
- Site layout
- Cranage layout
- Traffic management plan
- Site management Organogram
- Resource’s histograms
- Contract Program
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Schedule Risk Analysis
The main objectives of Schedule Risk Analysis include:
- To identify and monitor the risk factors that may cause delays.
- To evaluate the probability of meeting the schedule completion dates
- To plan and implement actions for the mitigation of identified risk factors.
We provide Qualitative / Quantitative methods to study the schedule risks associated with the project implementation.
